How do the ‘Options Days’ work?
On four days of the trip, the group will be divided into six. Each of the six groups will follow a different itinerary. Each participant will be assigned a group based on their choices and preferences that we will obtain prior to the trip. In this way, each participant will have a custom-made itinerary. This unique feature of the trip will allow those returning to Israel the opportunity to see and explore new places, while allowing those visiting Israel for the first time the opportunity to visit the primary sites not to be missed.
Can I register for the trip alone, without a group?
There will be many communities/groups joining from across America and beyond, however we are happy to welcome and accommodate individual participants.
I am coming alone, but prefer the double occupancy rate, can I be assigned a roommate?
Yes. When registering, select the “1 Adult (Double Occupancy)” option. We will be in touch with you to arrange a suitable roommate. (Based on availability, not guaranteed).
Is there a dress code? Any specific clothing suggested?
We suggest the following:
- » As there is considerable walking on the trip, pack comfortable clothing and footwear.
- » Include appropriate clothing and head coverings [i.e. yarmulkes, scarves] for visiting holy sites.
- » We suggest slightly more formal attire, i.e. business casual for Shabbat and the Banquet Gala.
What will the weather be at the time of the trip?
March is a beautiful time of year in Israel. The weather is generally around 70 degrees.
